Welldry Silica gel is a hard granular, non-toxic and non-corrosive desiccant with the appearance of crushed glass. It is slightly softer than ordinary window glass, odorless, insoluble and a non-conductor of electricity.

The JamesLuke Welldry Silica gel has a very strong affinity for water, which gives it an adsorption capacity of over 40% of its own weight at 100% relative humidity. It is compatible with most materials except strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid. It is resistant to most acidic streams and is therefore used in the drying or purification of acid vapors or liquids.
In bagged form the JamesLuke Welldry silica gel provides the static dehumidification needed for the protection of many materials and packaged items to prevent corrosion, mold, rust and mildew.
The JamesLuke Welldry Silica gel can be reused after being fully saturated with water

Our most popular being the Dupont Tyvek packets, Tyvek is strong, lightweight, flexible, smooth, low-linting, and is resistant to chemicals, abrasion, and ageing. The Tyvek bag is also extremely tear-resistant, providing extra protection for your product. Tyvek bags meet the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in direct contact with foods and drugs.
2. Non Woven Bags
JamesLuke Welldry silica gel is also available in a non-woven material, that is semi transparent. This material is designed to be used with our indicating type silica.
